The seal operates with the help of a thin film of oil during the winter season and if the air conditioner is not used during this season the oil will dry up and the refrigerant will escape. Those who are not familiar with this fact do not know why their system is not operating when the summer season is arrived. So the air conditioner system should be run once every two weeks for just a few minutes even in the winter.
